The Importance of Forgiveness
“Blair wait, please” Serena says. “Serena you left without telling anyone at all, and that’s unforgivable.” whether it’s is a drama filled series, or the real world, we often in the real world beg for forgiveness. In today’s society it’s important to keep friendships , and to be more understanding of others feelings.
To teens today keeping their best friend by their side is the “most important thing in their life.” For example, in the movie “LOL” Lola meets “the love of her life” at her sad, poor, underdeveloped school. She soon ruins her and her best friends friendship, but then realizes he isn’t the one for her, and she needs her best friend back. Not only does the pain of losing everything happen “behind the big white screen,” but it also happens in the real world. Sometimes, when we go beg our angry, hard-headed, sassy best friend for forgiveness they refuse to accept the unforgivable action. In addition, as a teen I have done unforgivable actions towards my friends ranging from: telling them to leave me alone, to don’t talk to me, to get out of my life. For many of us getting told by the closest people in your life to stay away feels like a punch in the stomach. Therefore, forgiveness is important because a boyfriend/girlfriend may not last forever, but best friends will.
Not only does forgiveness re mend friendships, but it can also make people more understanding of others feelings. For example, there are people in this world that are very straight forward, very blunt, and not very caring for others feelings. In our lives we also can turn into “one of those people.” With forgiveness “those people” can change their whole perspective about how they treat people. In addition,in the lives of teenagers those stubborn, bratty, attitude poppin’ girl and boys, we often feel like no one will be there when we fall, because someone has called you names being very careless about our feelings. Too often do people, mostly teens, become very careless about someone’s feelings, but with forgiveness, and being more understanding we can all live a better life.
As Blair was walking away from her needy teary-eyed friend, Serena yells, “Blair please I’m sorry!” Blair turns her head with delicate tears rolling down her pale cheeks, hugs her best friend and says, “It’s okay!”

Anorexia
Anorexia nervosa is characterized by emaciation, a relentless pursuit of thinness and unwillingness to maintain a normal or healthy weight, a distortion of body image and intense fear of gaining weight, a lack of menstruation among girls and women, and extremely disturbed eating behavior. Some people with anorexia lose weight by dieting and exercising excessively; others lose weight by self-induced vomiting, or misusing laxatives, diuretics or enemas.
Many people with anorexia see themselves as overweight, even when they are starved or are clearly malnourished. Eating, food and weight control become obsessions. A person with anorexia typically weighs herself or himself repeatedly, portions food carefully, and eats only very small quantities of only certain foods. Some who have anorexia recover with treatment after only one episode. Others get well but have relapses. Still others have a more chronic form of anorexia, in which their health deteriorates over many years as they battle the illness.
